I cannot install XJTAG on my Windows 95/98/ME/NT ® System.

XJTAG is only supported under Windows 2000 ®, Windows XP ® and Windows Vista ® at the moment. Please upgrade to one of these operating systems before attempting to install XJTAG, and then apply the latest Service Pack for your operating System. Service Packs are available from Microsoft Support.

When I try to install XJTAG, I get an error message "Error [number]" and the installation stops

[number] has been seen as 2738, -1603 and -1607. Some PCs run old versions of particular files that are needed during installations. This InstallShield article Q108167 discusses some of the issues. To help you track down the problem, you can log the installation, using the following command line.
setup.exe /v"/L*v "logfile.log""
Past fixes have included downloading the latest versions of Windows Scripting Host and the Windows Installer Redistributable.

When XJTAG is installing on XP, it says the driver has not passed Windows Logo testing.

XP Installation Warning

This message means that Microsoft has not tested the XJLink driver to certify it as Windows Logo compliant. We have, however, extensively tested the driver on XP. You can safely click "Continue Anyway". The XJLink driver will not destabilise your system.
